Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier and Transfer to Fez
Upon arriving in Morocco, clear customs and continue by bus through Larache to Fez. Fez is renowned as one of the most monumental Imperial Cities, home to the University of Karaouine, the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco, as well as its ancient theological schools. Settle in for the night at the hotel with dinner included.
Day 2: Exploring Fez
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Fez. Visit the seven gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarters, and the gate of Bab Bou Jelous. Take a walking tour of the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon is free for personal exploration. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation, with an optional dinner show available.
Day 3: Fez to Marrakech via Rabat and Casablanca
Start with breakfast, then depart towards Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco. Visit the exterior doors of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca for a panoramic view of the city, including the exteriors of Hassan II Mosque and the United Nations Square. Enjoy some free time in Casablanca before heading to Marrakech for dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.
Day 4: Discovering Marrakech
After breakfast, explore Marrakech, known as the "Pearl of the South." The tour begins with the Menara Gardens, followed by the exterior of the Koutoubia minaret. Inside the semi-old part of the city, visit the Bahia Palace. End the tour at Jmaa el Fnaa Square, with access to the souks and the medina. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Day 5: Marrakech to Ouarzazate via Ait Ben Haddou
Begin with breakfast at the hotel, then depart early heading south. Cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping for panoramic views. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous film location. Continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.
Day 6: Exploring Ouarzazate and Traveling to Erfoud
After breakfast, visit the Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate. Depart for Erfoud, crossing the Dades Valley and passing through cities like Boulmane and Kellah M'gouna. Visit the impressive Todra Gorges before continuing to Erfoud. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel, with optional excursions to the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunrise or an overnight desert experience.
Day 7: Journey from Erfoud to Fez
Have breakfast and depart towards Fez, passing through the Ziz River Valley, Errachidia, and Midelt. Enjoy the contrast between the desert heat and the snowy Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the cedar forest of Azrou before arriving in Fez in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Departure from Fez to Tangier
After breakfast, depart for Tangier. Transfer to the port or the airport for departure.
